As a Residency I Teacher at West Virginia State University, I understand that I will be expected to demonstrate my knowledge of the content of which I am teaching and apply my pedagogy in the classroom environment.  I will know my students through interactions and observations.  Setting instructional outcomes will be essential to tracking my student's progression and see that expectations are being met.  Using several types of resources I will be able to provide instructional materials to meet the needs of all of my students.  Instruction will be clear and concise and the student will be able to follow directions knowing all the expectations that are required of them.  All student assessments will be completed in an acceptable time frame and unbiased. They will be designed to meet the needs of every student with differentiated application as necessary.
