As a Residency I Teacher at West Virginia State University, I will strive to create a classroom environment where students, teachers, and visitors will be respected.  I will establish a good rapport with my students and colleagues.  My students will be able to communicate with their peers by modeling my behavior. The establishment of a culture for learning will be reflected in the setting and tone of my classroom.  The classroom will need to be organized, implement goals, and be a safe environment for all who enter.
